OUR MISSION

our mission is to ensure that the whole family, especially vulnerable members feel safe when communicating with the outside world, safe in their own homes by being protected from scammers

Having experienced first hand a family member becoming the victim of a sophisticated scam we were determined to look at ways to hopefully stop this from reoccurring. Although our research led us to lots of well meaning articles, we couldn’t find anything that made the whole family feel safe, whilst at the same time retaining the independence and dignity of our loved one.

It began with a simple phone call from the scammer posing as a ‘well known’ financial company that lead to them gaining access and full control of the computer, which meant they were able to steal financial information and money.

Apart from a substantial sum being stolen, the greater impact on them was the emotional distress and anxiety, which left them feeling vulnerable and frightened that it could happen again.
